EXCELLENT Based on 131 reviews Peter2025-04-0510Verified We are normally “one and done” travelers, but I plan to return to this place because it is so amazing!!! ☺ This place is incredible! There is so much beautiful scenery and so many animals! The non predators roam free. At the cottage we stayed in, we had warthogs, zebras, and an ostrich all visit us on different days. There were a lot of birds to see on the lake and we even had a visit from a bat that ate the annoying bugs. ( it didn’t come close to us). I LOVE this place!! ☹ Nothing major. The only small issue we had was that the WiFi really didn’t work well at all at the cottage. But I could get cell service from my eSIM when I stood on the deck overlooking the water. Also, the WiFi worked great at the restaurant when we ate our meals. If we stayed in the lodge, I’m sure it would have been a better signal. Nokwazi2025-03-257.0Verified Good Francinah2025-02-1710Verified Exceptional ☺ The location was easy to find, the staff was amazing especially the receptionist. ☹ The breakfast buffet is very limited/standard I think they should look at expanding the variety Mouhamadou2025-01-0510Verified Exceptional ☺ The environment! It was on !and the workers are so friendly !!! Carl2025-01-049.0Verified A wonderful place to visit. ☺ The 2nd time we have visited Glen Afric and we would definitely go back again. Its a very classy setting with excellent facilities, friendly staff, good value for money and good food. We really enjoyed the game drive as well. ☹ Nothing at all Portia2025-01-0210Verified The staff is amazing especially the receptionist she welcomes with do much warmth, love & smile . ☺ Breakfast was great .The activities there are just amazing...we enjoyed especially interacting with Elephants ...we were just blown away ..what a wow dalins👌. It was a memorable & a beautiful stay.Grateful to Glen Afric Team ...remain blessed 🙌🏾 ☹ The cocktails at first but the bar man did well on his recommendations ,very kind staff. We had a good time... Munyaradzi2025-01-022.0Verified Was not good for my family at all. ☺ Animals ☹ Was given an apartment which was full of trouble, 80% of the appliances wasn't working while I had kids, the worst part is one of the stuff told me on my last day that that specific apartment wasn't being used for a long time due to its problem.. electricity goes every 2nd hour and if u don't know I will think it's loadshedding. Will never go there again in my entire life..will rather go to Dikhololo every year than to miss creating memories and wasting money like that.. this place maybe accommodate day visits not stay. Doreen2024-12-318.0Verified Very Good Charmaine2024-12-302.0Verified Lack of basic services (water and electricity) made for a highly uncomfortable stay. ☺ The animal encounters and game drives ☹ Air conditioners weren’t working properly, no power in rooms, power coming on/off throughout the night, no water to shower at night or flush toilet. Power only came on after 8am and water flowing 30 minutes later. Broken hair dryer in room. Overall, not worth the high rates charged. Basic services like water being cut off is not acceptable. Random power cuts e en though a generator was used as a back-up caused me and my family to have sleepless nights due fan/air-conditioner starting only to stop less than a minute later. This went on throughout the night. With the power its security walked around with string flashlights which was scary as they randomly appeared and disappeared. I was very disappointed. The lack of basic services had us scrambling to have showers before check-out time at 10am which the receptionist advised we have until 10:30am to check out. This after the power and water finally came on around 8:45am at which point we went to have breakfast but only half the items was available due to power issues in the kitchen. No compensation or discount was offered despite the lack of basic services. Needless to say we won’t be back. Jonathan2024-12-2210Verified must be there to experience how awesome this place is ☺ everything, especially the surroundings. lions, tigers and other wild animals surrounding us, rouring in the evenings, giving an awesome African experience ☹ nothing
