Roxy was dropped off at a rescue centre when she was little, but unfortunately, they did not have the space or time to take proper care of her. The rescue centre contacted us and asked if we had time and space for her, and we said yes. Roxy arrived at the farm with our white lion, Boris. Roxy and Boris stayed together for a long time, but as Roxy got bigger and stronger, she started being a bit aggressive with Boris, and they were separated. Roxy got her own enclosure. Today, Roxy is loving her own space, spending most of her day playing around in her pool and relaxing under the trees. She has a big personality, and she is a favourite among staff and guests alike.

In the beginning of 2015, a man offered to sell two of his tiger cubs to the farm. The farm turned him down, however, the man kept trying to sell the cubs to us, and after turning him away multiple times, we were concerned what would happen to them, so we agreed to take them in.
The cubs were aggressive and misbehaving as the man had not taken proper care of them.
Our animal team put a lot of effort into curbing their aggressive behaviour, and today, we know the two little cubs as our talkative Pi and sweet Jasmine.

Selati is from a litter that was a part of a breeding programme with the purpose to release leopards back into the wild.
Unfortunately, Selati was the runt of her litter, and the people that were
running the breeding programme were convinced she would not be able to make it in the wild on her own, so instead they contacted the farm and asked if we could provide a safe and caring home for her. Selati has grown up to be a beautiful leopard, and a bit of a diva. She is a real supermodel, and she knows it. She has been in several commercials, the biggest one being for the jewellery brand, Cartier.

In 2018, a litter of four cheetah cubs were brought to the farm to maybe become part of a selective breeding programme trying to release cheetahs back into the wild, as cheetah status in the wild is dismal. They are part of Glen Afric’s animal project and as they were born in captivity and raised by humans the cubs are unable to be released back into the wild.
In 2022, two of the cheetahs unfortunately passed away due to a gastrointestinal illness. Following the loss, the remaining two cheetahs underwent different tests to ensure they did not have any
underlying issues. Luckily all tests showed that the two cheetahs are in perfect health, and today we are privileged to have Mika and Ruby with us.
